United States District Court Judge R. Barclay Surrick dismissed a lawsuit against the candidacy of Barak Hussein Obama because, he ruled, voters do not have legal standing to challenge a non-citizen running for US President.
The lawsuit, brought by Democrat Attorney Philip J. Berg of Pennsylvania, established as a legal fact that Barak Obama is not a "natural born citizen" of the United States. The lawsuit established as a legal fact that Obama was born in Kenya and, later was made a citizen of Indonesia. As such, Obama is Constitutionally ineligible to run for US President.
Despite being a loyal Democrat, Mr. Berg filed the lawsuit because the Constitution REQUIRES any candidate for President to be a natural born citizen and he knew Obama was not.
Judge Surrick dismissed Berg's lawsuit ruling any harm from an allegedly ineligible candidate was "too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters.
The ruling is legally incorrect on its face. Pursuant to Amendment Ten of the Constitution for the United States, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
Since there is no federal agency or person responsible for enforcing the Constitutional requirement that a candidate for President be a natural born citizen, and since there is no state law or state agency with such enforcement powers, then legal standing to deal with the issue falls directly to "the people." As such, Philip Berg did and does have legal standing to bring such a lawsuit. So do each of us!
Federal District Judge Surrick knows this; or is supposed to know it. His ruling makes me believe that either:
1) Judge Surrick is incompetent because he doesn't know the most basic laws of the nation, OR;
2) Judge Surrick is corrupt because he knows the law but refuses to obey it.
Either way, Surrick deserves to be impeached from office for the bad behavior he has perpetrated through his inane ruling.
In the past, I would have published the home address of the judge involved so citizens could

CHINA ATTACKS U.S. DOLLAR; CALLS FOR OTHER COUNTRIES TO "BANISH IT"

Made it to Blumenau, Brasil!
My trip to Brasil is going quite well. Very relaxing.
After traveling to Curitiba, Parana, Brasil, we headed by private plane to Foz Do Iguaco and then briefly over the border into Paraguay to conduct some business.
Upon flying back to Curitiba, be departed for Blumenau to meet up with some friends.
We stayed on top of a 1500' (500 meter) mountain in the beautiful home of a dear friend, pictured below. (Click picture to enlarge)
When we arrived, it was a bit overcast, but we could clearly see Blumenau in the valley below as show below:
We had a terrific dinner, spent much of the night socializing and went to sleep.
The next morning when we awoke, an amazingly beautiful thing happened; a storm front moved into the valley overnight but the mountain we were on was so tall, we were ABOVE the clouds! Take a look at how the clouds filled the valley below us:
Late this afternoon the weather became spectacular so we had a sort of barbecue with friends. I made sure I was in these pictures since the skeptics out there seem to think this is some sort of hoax.

They asked how I got out of the country without my passport being "pinged" through the government database. Naturally, she couldn't explain that because she doesn't know.

CONFIRMED: U.S. GOV'T WILL COLLAPSE BEFORE SUMMER 2009; WILL REPUDIATE NATIONAL DEBT; ISSUE NEW CURRENCY AND DEVALUE "OLD DOLLARS" BY 90%

According to "Lettre Confidentielle de LEAP/E2020" the US economy, now in deep recession, will collapse. The resulting lack of tax revenues will make it impossible for the federal government to pay even the interest on its ten trillion dollar national debt.
On October 16, 2008, the "Global-Europe Anticipation Bulletin" told its subscribers that the present U.S. Dollar will be demonetized and a new currency imposed. "Old dollars" will be devalued by ninety percent (90%)
When the collapse occurs, countries around the world will immediately stop accepting our money. That means imports will dry up very quickly -- including food and oil imports.
Lets talk oil first
The United States uses 18 million barrels of oil each day. We produce 5 million barrels a day of our own oil and import 13 million barrels a day from around the world.
Right now, our strategic petroleum reserve has 701 million barrels of oil in storage. When the world stops accepting our currency and stops shipping oil to us, we will have to draw down on the strategic petroleum reserve by 13 million barrels per day. We will run out of oil in 59 days.
No oil means no gasoline for cars; no diesel fuel for trucks.
Everything in this nation, except electricity and natural gas, is transported by truck. No diesel fuel means no products being shipped. . . . . including food.
Now lets talk food
After our oil reserves run out in 59 days, trucks will have no fuel. No fuel means no food gets delivered anywhere.
Here in the New York City area, our supermarkets have about three days worth of food in stock. They must get deliveries almost every day to feed the population.
So . . . . . the oil reserves run out in 59 days, the supermarkets are empty 3 days later. What do you think is going to happen?
Complete Social Collapse and anarchy
The cities will disintegrate into complete chaos first. Roving bands of savages will break into homes looking to eat. If you cannot protect yourself, they will take your food.
Once the cities are emptied of food, the savages will come to the suburbs. Small local police departments will be instantly overwhelmed. Calling 911 will be useless.

Telling us all that we're going to lose 90% of the value of our life savings sure will be unpopular.
I wonder if the Secret Service agents who lose their life savings too, will bother protecting Obama from assassination; or might they kill him themselves? After all, the Zapruder film proves the secret service agent driving John F. Kennedy in Dallas, turned around and shot him in the head. That's why his wife, Jacqueline Kennedy, tried climbing out of the back of the limo after it happened! She saw who shot her husband. It happened once, it can happen again!
What to do right now
1) If you live in a city, make plans to get out when all hell breaks loose. Arrange a place to stay with relatives or friends far away from the city because the cities will be deadly.
2) Start storing food. Don't wait. You have less than 6 months before the shit hits the fan. Buy canned foods because they stay fresh a long time. Buy SEVERAL 50 lb bags of rice, SEVERAL 50 lb bags of oatmeal and store them. Make sure you have lots of flour and yeast to bake your own bread. Have supplies of sugar, salt and the like. Buy powedered milk that can be mixed with water to create real milk. Refill your propane tank for your grill and maybe get some spare tanks. Do not store propane inside your house because it can explode.
3) This Christmas, forget buying presents; buy a gun or two and ammunition. Ideally you should have one handgun for each older teenager/adult in your home. You should also have at least one 12 gauge shotgun and one hunting rifle such as a .308 or 30-30. Teach everyone in your family how to use them. Make certain your children understand these are not toys and that in apartment buildings and condos, bullets can go through walls and kill innocent people. We don;t want that so make sure you teach your kids well. You're going to need guns to fend off the savages that come to steal your food. You may also need a rifle to hunt for food yourself.
4) Buy a gravity-fed water filter so you have clean water for drinking and cooking.
5) Stock up on any prescription drugs you MUST have to live.
6) If you have never hunted for food and don't know how to gut, clean and prepare freshly killed animals, LEARN. Get a couple books and LEARN.
7) Start talking to your neighbors about what's coming. Since the police will be totally overwhelmed, form local neighborhood defense groups. Get CB radios or Family Radio Service radios so you and your neighbors can call each other for help immediately. If the bad guys come, call out the whole neighborhood and use all deliberate force to repel the invaders. Don't be afraid to shoot and kill. The savages won't be afraid to do it to you!
Folks, this is the absolute worst news I have ever delivered to my readers. I shudder at what's coming. If we hope for the best but also plan for the worst, we might. . . . . just might. . . . get through this alive.

Expect financial hell to break loose on Tuesday; major bank failure
Tuesday, 21 October 2008 is going to be marked in history as a huge day in matters of U.S. finance. Tuesday is the day that Lehman Brothers "credit default swaps" (CDS) must be settled.
CDS were insurance-like guarantees provided by banks and hedge funds as a source of easy revenue for themselves. Offering the CDS meant that banks and hedge funds agreed to cover any default by a major investment house like Lehman Brothers. The banks and hedge funds charged "premiums" to provide this "protection" which they never believed would ever be needed to cover anyone. Then Lehman Brothers went bankrupt. OOOOPS.
Last week, it was determined that Lehman Brothers assets were only worth about 8 cents on the dollar, meaning the credit default was about 92 cents on the dollar. . . . . times about four hundred billion dollars!
Tuesday is the day that the CDS' must be settled. Tuesday is the day that whoever agreed to cover a default by Lehman Brothers, must actually fork over the cash money.
Since the CDS markets are so intertwined and convoluted, it is not yet clear who has to pay how much. Tuesday will change all that because whoever is on the hook to pay, must pay on Tuesday.
Look for all hell to break loose in US markets because some very big bank(s) and very big investment house(s) WILL fail . . . . . . big.

Departing Sao Paulo for Curitiba
As I write, it is day two of my relaxation in Brasil. (That's they way they spell the country name down here)
Oh, what a hangover from yesterday. The only way to rid myself of the headache is to. . . . . . drink some more! The caipirinha (sugar cane alcohol, sugar syrup, lots of chopped lime and lots of ice) is soooooooo good.
A really neat part about Brasil is that highway service areas sell booze! Yea, hard liquor! There are no laws down here against having open alcoholic beverages in a moving car, and even if there are such laws, there really aren't any police to enforce them.
In the photo below, we are departing Sao Paulo heading toward Curitiba.
As one departs a major city in Brasil, one inevitably encounters "Favelas." Ghettos. Slums. Without exaggeration, they stretch for miles around every major city. They are dangerous, crime and drug-ridden areas. If you are White and you go in, you will not come out alive.

It will be several hours drive to Curitiba. As we change states, my cell phone may or may not continue working. Unlike the US, Brasilian cellular carriers are geographic specific. Some carriers operate in some states and honor visitors like me who use American cellular carriers, while other Brasilian cellular companies in other states of Brasil do not. So I may be out of touch for a few days.
Brasil is about as big (north-to-south) as the United States is (east-to-west). But Brasil has less than half the population of the USA and 90% of that population lives within ten miles of the eastern coast! As such, after leaving Sao Paulo and traveling beyond the ring of favelas, the countryside becomes rural then totally uninhabited almost immediately.
We will travel several hours toward Curitiba with miles and miles and miles of no people, few if any houses, no businesses. Just whatever animals roam free in the beautiful wild.
Another interesting aspect of Brasil are the ants. The ants here are very different than the ants in the USA. The ants here are big and they attack and eat whole animals. If you have a dog and you leave it chained up to a tree with a 30 foot chain when you leave for work, the dog will be eaten alive by ants and be dead by the time you arrive home from work.
Take a look at the photo below. Sorry it is so grainy, we were driving fast (180-190 kph). See the grayish colored things on the hills that look like rocks? They aren't rocks. They are 3,4 and 5 foot tall ant hills! Gazzillions of ants.
In the paragraph above, I wrote that we were traveling about 180-190 kilometers per hour which is 110 - 120 miles per hour. Once you get 50 kilometers outside a major population center, there are few if any police and they don't have radar or laser speed detection gear. Even if they did, their tiny little police cars wouldn't be able to catch you anyway. Here's a pic of one of their police cars:
Basically, along the highways, the cops stay in their stations (which are right on the highway itself) and wait for someone to call-in a crash.

Once you get 50 kilometers outside a major population center, there are few if any police and they don't have radar or laser speed detection gear. Even if they did, their tiny little police cars wouldn't be able to catch you anyway. Here's a pic of one of their police cars:
Basically, along the highways, the cops stay in their stations (which are right on the highway itself) and wait for someone to call-in a crash.Here's a Brasilian Federal Highway Police station we passed on the highway:
