Washington, DC -- Out of an abundance of caution, the Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court went to the White house this afternoon and officially re-administered the Oath of Office to President Barack Obama!
Legal scholars agreed that the Oath, which is stipulated in the US Constitution itself, must be recited EXACTLY as specified.
During the inauguration ceremony in Washington yesterday, the Chief Justice fouled-up the oath and Obama fouled-up the foul-up.
Since the gaff could be used as a legal tool to challenge each and every action taken by Obama, the White House decided the best course of action was to take the oath again and get it right this time.
