Dear US Congress:
As you are well aware, consumers are simply not spending or going into debt, which is why the economy is flat. There's a very simple way to fix this:
1) Temporarily WAIVE the ten percent (10%) Fine for spending from IRA's/ 401-K's / Pensions;
AND;
2) Cut the income tax rate on such disbursements to half the regular rate.
There is presently $60 TRILLION in US pensions, IRA's / 401-K's.
Unleashing that money would solve our financial crisis within weeks.
