Blagojevich Indicted!
Chicago, IL -- Sources are reporting to me as of 11:22 AM eastern US time today, that former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has been Indicted by a federal grand jury for corruption.
The sources say that U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald will announce the Indictment late this afternoon in Chicago and will release a copy of the court filing.

As promised: Joseph Cassano of AIG
Here's what he looks like:Joseph Cassano, the man accused of bringing the massive insurance company American International Group (AIG) to the brink of bankruptcy, left his home for a mid-morning cycle with his wife of March 19. Here, he is carrying his state-of-the-art bicycle down the steps of his Montpelier Square townhouse in London's fashionable Knightsbridge area.
Cassano lives in this four-story townhouse in one of London's most exclusive neighborhoods on Montpelier Square, a few blocks away from the famous Harrod's shopping complex. The home is reportedly worth $8 million.
Cassano cycling towards London's Hyde Park, just one day after AIG's CEO Edward Liddy was put in the hot seat as he testified before Congress. Despite being the target of an FBI investigation, Cassano seems to be enjoying his London lifestyle.
A waiter at this upscale Italian restaurant, around the corner from Cassano's townhouse, says Cassano regularly has lunch there at 12 noon sharp. Lunchtime draws an international business crowd to the restaurant.
Cassano also brings his wife to Montpeliano, as the neighborhood restaurant is called, for dinner, according to a waiter. The menu includes whole lobster and the specialty of the house is veal montpeliano.
First class is apparently not good enough for Cassano. His associates says that Cassano travels around the world by private jet. FAA records show that Cassano is a partial owner of this Gulfstream IV jet, which costs about $40 million.
Cassano traveled frequently between London and Wilton, Connecticut, where the main office of AIG Financial Products is located. Cassano owns this home in an exclusive neighborhood in Westport, Connecticut, less than 10 miles away from company headquarters.
Those of you who believe that people ought to be held accountable for the wreckage they cause to others, may want to pay Mr. Cassano a visit.

The tallest building in New England has been foreclosed upon and sold at auction. The John Hancock Tower defaulted on its mortgage in January and was sold yesterday for HALF its book value.

In my ongoing effort to improve "The Hal Turner Show" I will introduce a brand new segment to my show this week. The new segment will be called "VIGILANTE JUSTICE GAME" and, as the name implies, it will designate as a contestant in the game, a person deserving of vigilante justice.
Our first contestant will be Mr. Joseph Cassano. This Brooklyn-born slime-bag headed the Financial Products Division of AIG and made himself more than three hundred million dollars, by getting AIG on the hook insuring almost a trillion dollars in bad debts.
Thanks to this individual, AIG was virtually destroyed, requiring WE THE PEOPLE to bail out that company.
Mr. Cassano presently resides in London, England with his wife, but owns a home in Westport, CT, USA. He and his wife enjoy lobster dinners weekly at posh London restaurants and he goes biking each day for exercise.
On my show this Wednesday, I will release photos of this man, photos of his $8 million London Town House, the address of his townhouse, the name of the restaurant that he eats lunch at each day (at 12 noon sharp), the name of the restaurant he and his wife dine at almost every night, photos of and the FAA registration information for his private jet, photos and the address of his home in Wesport, CT and other details that will make it possible for virtually anyone to locate this man and deliver-up some street justice for what he did.

The FBI and federal prosecutors are reportedly closing in on the AIG executive whose suspect investments cost the insurance giant hundreds of billions of dollars. The government is investigating whether or not 54-year old Brooklyn-native Joseph Cassano committed criminal fraud in virtually bankrupting the company.
"He almost single-handedly is responsible for bringing AIG down and by reference the economy of this country," said Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Ca.)
Cassano, who lives in London, made more than $300 million running the infamous Financial Products Division of AIG where he, with about a dozen others, committed AIG to insure what turned out to be more than a trillion dollars worth of junk quality loans held by banks.
This is the guy who needs to be made an example of. I would laugh if he was brutally killed.

CHINA CALLS FOR NEW INTERNATIONAL CURRENCY; DOLLAR "UNRELIABLE"
Beijing -- The Chief of the CHinese Central Bank has publicly called for the world to adopt a new "reserve currency" and to "dump" the U.S. dollar as the present reserve currency of the world.
China has now joined Russia in making such calls publicly.
This is the single worst possible development that could strike the USA, and fits directly into the time frame I warned about as far back as September 2007.
If and when the world dumps the dollar, we will not be able to use our currency to buy much if anything from the rest of the world because the world is now viewing the Dollar as worthless.
If more countries adopt the view of China and Russia, the U.S. economy will cease to exist and the U.S. Government will collapse within months.

If you ever wondered how the people of the old Soviet Union allowed themselves to fall so far into totalitarianism, you won't wonder after September-- you'll be living it.

Server damaged in shipment
The master internet server which was shipped to a data center last week was damaged during shipping.
This may --- may -- delay the show. More details as they become available.
UPDATE MONDAY March 23, 2009 11:00 AM ET -- The server was not "posting." It would turn on, go through the initial BIOS then simply stop. The typical cause for this is a loose video card, loose memory stick or similar thing.
I authorized the data center to cut the lock off the back and open the unit. They did.
It appears the machine got a very rough ride and very rough handling via UPS even though the carton was marked "FRAGILE" on every side.
The data center techs re-seated the video card and the machine "posted" successfully but is still not coming online. They will continue to investigate.
